What Is The Commonwealth Home Support Package?
The Commonwealth Home Care Package (CHSP) provide small amounts of entry-level support to seniors aged 65 years and over (50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), empowering them to continue living independently at home.
This package covers a range of services, and it supports caregivers by offering planned respite services; the CHSP services are flexible and can be provided on a short-term, intermittent, or ongoing basis.
