Dedicated report writing days, a caseload built around your preferences, and structured support that actually shows up. This is OT done differently.
Why Healthproof
OT is one of the most complex and rewarding disciplines in allied health. It’s also one of the most administratively demanding, and most employers treat that as your problem to solve in your own time. At Healthproof, we’ve designed the role around that reality — dedicated report writing days from home, a caseload built around your interests, fortnightly structured supervision, and a dedicated scheduling team that manages your calendar your way. You do the work you trained for. We structure the environment so you can.
This is occupational therapy the way it was meant to be.
Built around what clinicians actually need
Admin overload with no protected time
NDIS OT documentation is substantial. At Healthproof, dedicated report writing days are built into your schedule, not carved out of your evenings. Report writing training is provided so you’re not figuring out complex NDIS reports on your own.
A caseload built around you and your preferences
Your caseload is built around your clinical preferences, whether that’s adults, aged care, paediatrics, or a mix. We also limit complex cases per caseload so you’re not carrying an unreasonable burden. If your preferences change, we work with you to adjust.
Structured support from day one and beyond
Your first weeks aren’t a trial by fire. We run an extensive shadowing and induction period before you see clients independently. After induction, fortnightly 1:1 supervision with your team leader is built into your schedule, and your TL is accessible day-to-day.
Huge scope, without direction or development
OT has an enormous scope of practice and without the right structure, that can feel overwhelming rather than exciting. Supervision is designed around your development goals, not generic check-ins. You get clarity on where you’re heading and what support is available.
Real autonomy and flexibility
Flexible start and finish times, input on your caseload mix, WFH days built in for report writing. Your schedule is built with you. If something isn’t working, there’s a genuine mechanism to raise it and have it addressed.
A career path that actually goes somewhere
A defined pathway: Graduate to Clinician to Senior to Team Leader to Area Manager. Annual salary reviews, a $2,000 CPD allowance, and 3 paid study days mean your development is backed by real investment.
Dedicated scheduling and admin support
A dedicated scheduling team manages your caseload your way, with geographic zoning, caseload preferences, and admin time built into your week. You’re not expected to manage your own calendar on top of a full clinical load.
Report writing training
Writing complex NDIS reports is a skill that takes time. Report writing training is provided from day one, with ongoing support so the quality of your documentation improves over time.
