We hire year-round — no waiting for an intake date

Healthproof is built for clinicians who want to do great work from day one — with real support, real supervision, and a team that actually has your back.

Starting your career in community health is one of the best decisions you can make.

You see real people in their real environment. You solve problems that matter. You build clinical relationships that last. And you develop a breadth of skill faster than almost any other setting.

But it only works if you have the right support structure around you. The fear of going into community work straight out of uni is real — and it’s legitimate. At Healthproof, we’ve built the role around that reality. Here’s what that actually looks like.

What your first 90 days look like

We don’t consider someone ready to go solo until they actually are.

MONTH 1

In-depth orientation and extensive shadowing

You shadow experienced clinicians before seeing any clients independently. You learn how we work, ask questions, and get a feel for the role without the pressure of carrying a caseload.

MONTH 2

Supported caseload progression

You start seeing clients with your team leader or a senior clinician alongside you. Caseload builds gradually as your confidence grows, not because a roster needs filling.

MONTH 3

Structured ongoing support

You run your own caseload, but you’re never truly on your own. Weekly 1:1 supervision with your team leader is in your calendar. Your TL is a message or call away for anything that comes up.

Your buddy from day one

Every new grad at Healthproof is paired with an experienced senior clinician or team leader who acts as your dedicated buddy for the first 90 days. They’re your first call when you’re unsure, your sounding board when things get complex, and your guide as you find your feet.

Things we hear from new grads. And what we do about them.

You’re not the first to have these worries. Here’s how we address each one.

Healthproof physiotherapist talking with a client in her living room

“I'll be isolated working alone in the community.”

Working in the community doesn’t mean working alone. Daily check-ins with your team, regular video calls, and team events mean you stay genuinely connected. Your TL is accessible, not just on-call. And with a buddy alongside you for the first 90 days, you’re never truly on your own even when you’re out in the field.

“I won't have enough clinical experience to work independently.”

That’s why we don’t ask you to. Your induction isn’t a formality — it’s a genuine preparation period. You go independent only when you’re ready, not when the roster needs you.

“What if I get a complex case and don't know what to do?”

Healthproof triages caseloads so new grads get progressive exposure to complex cases — not thrown in straight away. When something challenging does come up, your TL or a senior colleague is a call away. You’re never expected to navigate complexity alone.

“Will I be stuck at graduate level forever?”

No. Clinicians transition out of new grad level after 1 year, with a clear structured pathway: Graduate → Associate → Clinician → Senior → Team Leader → Area Manager. It is a defined track with annual reviews and a $2,000 CPD allowance to support your growth.

“My supervision will get deprioritised once I'm settled in.”

Weekly 1:1 supervision with your team leader is built into your schedule — not bolted on top as an afterthought. It doesn’t fade after month two. It’s a standing commitment, not a nice-to-have.

“I'll be under KPI pressure before I've even found my feet.”

We don’t have billable targets for clinicians. Not for grads, not for seniors. Your focus is doing good clinical work. The rest follows from that.

Corey Biczo, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Healthproof, standing outdoors

“I built this company because I lived through everything we’re trying to fix — being thrown in the deep end, no opportunity to progress, supervision that was always deprioritised, KPIs on everything. I wanted to build a place where clinicians actually enjoy coming to work. Because when you’re happy and supported, you do your best work. And that’s what’s best for a long and satisfying career.”

Everything you want to know about starting your career with Healthproof.

Is Healthproof’s graduate program open to all allied health disciplines?

Yes. We offer graduate positions across Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, and Podiatry. All graduates go through the same structured onboarding and support framework, tailored to your discipline.

No prior NDIS experience is required. Our induction program includes extensive shadowing and a clinical ramp-up period so you build confidence gradually before taking on your own caseload.

Graduates typically transition after 12 months, moving into the Associate Clinician level. From there the pathway is clear: Associate → Clinician → Senior → Team Leader → Area Manager — progression based on development, not just time served.

Every new grad has weekly 1:1 supervision with their team leader built into their schedule from day one. This is a protected, non-negotiable part of your working week — not something that gets bumped when things get busy.

You’ll have your own caseload in the community, but you’re never isolated. There are daily check-ins, regular video calls, and team events to keep you connected. Your team leader and senior clinicians are a message or call away whenever you need support.

We triage caseloads so that new grads are introduced to complexity gradually. You won’t be thrown into difficult cases straight away — we build your exposure progressively as your confidence and skills develop.

All Healthproof clinicians — including graduates — receive a $2,000 CPD allowance and 3 days of paid study leave per year from day one.
