Director and Founder of Healthproof

Stephen Brush is a Director and Founder of Healthproof, where he leads the team and the relationships that allow the business to keep growing. With 15 years in the industry, Stephen is known for the depth of experience he built early across aged care, disability, workers compensation, post-operative rehabilitation, and sport. That breadth exposed him to the full range of demands placed on a clinical workforce, from the physical toll of frontline care to the complexity of coordinating across different funding systems and client needs, and it shaped a conviction he has carried into every part of how Healthproof operates: that consistent, high-quality care starts with a genuinely well-supported team.

Since co-founding Healthproof in 2019, Stephen has been the driving force behind building that team, establishing structured career pathways, university placement programs, and a graduate pipeline that continues to bring new talent into the profession. His focus has always extended beyond clinical outcomes to the people delivering them, and he has worked to build a culture at Healthproof where clinicians feel supported, valued, and set up to do their best work at every stage of their career.

Stephen’s influence is also most visible in the relationships he has built with referrers, Support at Home providers, and coordinators across the NDIS and aged care sectors, relationships grounded in trust and consistency that continue to expand Healthproof’s reach into the communities that need it most. His contribution to the sector has been recognised nationally, including as a finalist in the 2024 Telstra Best of Business Awards and the Sydney Young Entrepreneur Awards in 2022 and 2023. Under his leadership, Healthproof continues to build the culture and partnerships that its growth depends on.
